A prologue

Well, hello there. This first post is really just here to say: hey, look, a blog! It’s a prologue of sorts. A brief introduction to why I’ve decided to start a blog and what sorts of things I might write here. So, without further ado—

When I decided to make this website, I thought: well, why not try writing a blog? It’s not something I’ve ever done before, and I’m not really expecting anything out of it. It just seems like a good way to add to my writing portfolio, and I guess it’s a sort of personal challenge as well—something new and outside my comfort zone, another creative outlet to explore. This blog will be a place for me to compile all sorts of ideas: writing thoughts, book reviews, and other random tidbits. So that’s what I plan to be writing about here.

I’m not sure how often I’ll actually update this—could be every week, every month, or every couple of years. Whenever inspiration strikes, I suppose. But if you’re interested, I’d love to have you along for the ride.
